Rev. Wendy Hamilton

Bellevue

Wendy is a mother, grandmother, minister, social justice advocate, and DC Public Schools Attendance Counselor. She is also an elected Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner (8D06) and Chairwoman of ANC 8D.

Kemry Hughes, II

Fairlawn

Kemry is a native Washingtonian, veteran political strategist, and activist. He served as DC's first Youth Mayor in 1980 under Mayor Barry and has spent the last four decades serving DC, including as Director of the Marion Barry Youth Leadership Institute.

Karen Lee

Anacostia

Karen is the Secondary School Support Manager at DCPS and an adjunct professor at The George Washington University. She served 17 years as a social studies teacher, including 12 at Markus' alma mater, Thurgood Marshall Academy.

Rick Murphree

Navy Yard

Rick is a U.S. Army Veteran, former college president, and entrepreneur. He also serves as Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner (8F02) and treasurer of ANC 8F. Before living in Navy Yard, he was a longtime resident of Anacostia.
